Pistachio Cookies

I love it when my followers share recipes!! This cookie is a modified version of a recipe Mrs. Bernie Bunz shared on our facebook group, The Sugar Shack Makers. After the cookies were out of the oven and cool off some, Big Daddy did the official taste testing. Without any coaxing, Big Daddy declared these the best cookies he has ever eaten! Now that is really saying something as I am pretty sure he has tried every cookie under the sun! Thank you Mrs. Bernie for sharing in The Sugar Shack Makers! You can find my version below.

  1. I made these as part of my Christmas baking. They are delicious!! I also had to crack open the nuts. I had a full bag already and didn’t want to buy unshelled but so worth the work!!! Merry Christmas to you all!!!

  2. You state in recipe cream brown sugar and sugar…..but in ingredients above you don’t list regular sugar. I had to go back and watch the video.

Also, in video you state Baking Soda but in Recipe above you say Baking Power…there is a difference….which can mess up the cookie. I already used the baking powder.

Need to fix recipe here……I hope my cookies come out 🤦🏼‍♀️

  3. Kelly your missing a 1/2 cup granulated sugar in the recipe. I only noticed because it said cream butter, brown sugar and sugar, and you only had brown sugar listed so I went back and looked up the original recipe just letting you know.
Thanks !! Have an AWESOME CHRISTMAS!
