Chocolate Chip Cake
Ingredients
- 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix I like Duncan Hines
- 1 3.4 oz vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 Cup sour cream
- ½ Cup vegetable oil
- ½ Cup water
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 1 Cup mini milk chocolate chips
Vanilla Butter Glaze
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 2½ cups powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except chocolate chips. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips with a spatula or spoon.
- Pour into a greased bundt or tube pan. (see links above)
- Bake 50 minutes at 350°
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
- Invert cake onto cooling rack and allow to cool completely.
- You can leave this cake as is or sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with a glaze.
Vanilla Butter Glaze
- Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until well blended and smooth.
- Let stand 5 minutes and spoon mixture over cooled cake.
