Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 21 oz can cherry pie filling
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar for topping
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  • Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing any perforations.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread evenly over the crescent dough layer.
  • Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  • Unroll the second can of crescent dough and gently lay it over the cherries. Pinch seams lightly if needed.
  • Brush the melted butter evenly over the top. Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the buttered dough.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  • Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into bars.
