  • Wooden board or large serving platter
  • Small bowls or ramekins
  • Fondue forks, skewers, or toothpicks

Ingredients

Chocolate Fondue

  • 8 oz semi-sweet or milk chocolate chopped
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Dippers (Mix & Match)

  • Strawberries
  • Banana slices
  • Apple slices
  • Marshmallows
  • Pound cake or angel food cake cubes
  • Pretzels

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium-low heat until warm (not boiling). Add the chopped chocolate and whisk until smooth and fully melted. Stir in vanilla and a pinch of salt.
  • Alternatively, melt the chocolate and cream together in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each.
  • Pour the warm chocolate into a heat-safe bowl or mini fondue pot to keep it warm while serving.
  • Wash, dry, and slice fruit. Cut cakes and brownies into bite-sized pieces. Arrange everything in small bowls or directly on your board.
  • Place the chocolate in the center of your board. Arrange the dippers around it, grouping similar items together for a clean, inviting look.
  • Serve immediately while the chocolate is warm. Provide skewers or forks for easy dipping and enjoy!
